With family or friends, the Parisii Oath treasure hunt takes you behind the scenes of the city's making, discovering the emblematic sites of the Marais, Île Saint-Louis and Île de la Cité. Your sense of observation and your memory will help you on this architectural and urban adventure, the aim of which is to become a member of the Parisii, a secret society that traces the history of Paris and raises awareness of the capital's evolution.
From the walls of Charles V to the banks of the Seine, from the courtyards and passages of the village of Saint-Paul to the Haussmann layout, from private mansions to the latest buildings and developments, this investigation guides you through the heart of Paris, from neighborhoods to islands, where anecdotes, heritage and contemporary issues are intertwined.Lead the investigation, collect the clues, observe the details and learn to read and decipher the architecture of Paris, and maybe you'll join the circle of Parisii!
Initiated as part of the Pavillon de l'Arsenal's 2021 summer program and produced in partnership with Qui veut pister?, Le serment des Parisii is an itinerary designed for all audiences, punctuated by fun and instructive riddles to discover the city in a different way, alone or as part of a team.
