This talk is organized around the book Form Follows Love. In it, German architect Anna Heringer tells Dominique Gauzin-Müller about her childhood and student years, her discovery of earth during a workshop with Martin Rauch, her practice in the Global South and how she now applies what she learned there to her projects in Europe.
Firstly, Anna will demonstrate through her work that architecture can positively transform the environment and society, helping to emancipate populations through the valorization of local resources and the rediscovery of vernacular know-how.
Dominique will then read a few passages from the book, before inviting participants to exchange views with the two authors.
