INTERNET DATABASE OF ILE DE FRANCE AREA CONTEMPORARY ARCHITECTURE

Due to the overwhelming success of the online database of contemporary Parisian architecture, which is now available online, the Pavillon de l'Arsenal would like to invite all architects and contractors to list their projects - either in progress or delivered ­ in the Ile-de-France region. Together, we would like to create a reference tool which is free and accessible to all via the internet listing 20th and 21st century Parisian architecture.

The extended version of the database of contemporary Parisian architecture will be available online from autumn 2008.

The illustrated and bilingual database is intended not only for construction professionals; architects, urban designers, landscape artists, contractors, promoters and investors, but also for anyone who loves architecture, students, researchers, French and international organisations. The database is a unique discovery and research tool destined for all!

Users will be able to keep abreast of the latest Parisian works and ongoing projects, search by specific types of usage (residential, office, or other uses), examine the works of an individual architect or engineer as well as look up projects carried out in their arrondissement.
