There is no end to the beauty of Paris. And it is not
just in its monuments and postcard scenery. There are
secret things too, everyday sights and sounds, textures
and materials, bitumen, greenery, sky and water.
Historians, researchers and architects design the content
and scenography of our thematic exhibitions, and the books
that accompany them. Varied viewpoints highlight the many
